About the website
The Institute for African History and Heritage provides this informational website. These terms apply to the current Institute website. Its programs, collections, and other initiatives are being developed; only expressly confirmed offerings should be treated as available.
Permitted use
You may use the website lawfully to explore information and prepare enquiries. Do not interfere with website security or operation, attempt unauthorized access, misrepresent an affiliation, impersonate others, or use the website to transmit unlawful or infringing material. Educational information
Website material is provided for general educational and informational purposes. Historical interpretation may involve different accounts and evolving research. Follow identified sources and seek clarification where needed. Content is not personalized legal, medical, immigration, financial, or professional advice.
Programs, travel, and qualifications
Program descriptions do not guarantee dates, admission, a scholarship, a speaker, a partnership, or a booking. This website currently does not accept enrollment or payments. Any future course, event, research project, or journey will require its own confirmed details and applicable participant, payment, cancellation, and consent terms. Website use alone does not create a booking or purchase.
The Institute does not promise university credit, an academic degree, professional accreditation, or institutional recognition through the current website. Any future certificate or credit arrangement must be specifically described. The Real Return coordinates travel arrangements where agreed; applicable travel terms will be provided separately.
Enquiries and contributions
The enquiry preparation tool creates text in your browser. It does not send the enquiry or guarantee a response. You decide whether to share it through an external channel. Do not provide sensitive or restricted information through general enquiries. Contributions to collections or public programs require appropriate separate agreements.
